Totodile is a small, blue crocodile-like Pokémon. It has red eyes, four thick white spots on its back, and a cream-colored belly. Totodile has three blunt claws on each hand and two sharp teeth in its lower jaw. Its tail is V-shaped with a light blue tip.
Totodile can open its mouth wide to scare off enemies or inhale water to shoot powerful water guns. As demonstrated in the anime, Totodile has a habit of biting anything that it sees, including humans. Totodile usually lives near clean streams and lakes in dense forests.
