Slakoth is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It is also known as the ‘lazy Pokémon’ because it is always lying down and doesn’t move much. Slakoth evolves into Vigoroth at level 18, which then evolves into Slaking at level 36.
Slakoth has a plant growing out of its head, which it uses to absorb sunbeams for energy. Slakoth is a pale brown, sloth-like Pokémon. It has black eyes, a small mouth, and three tufts of black fur on its head.
Its abdomen and chest are white, and it has a stripe of black fur going down its back. Slakoth has three claws on each hand and foot. Slakoth is a very lazy Pokémon; it moves only once every two days and spends the rest of its time lying dormant in trees.
Slakoth’s fur is coated in a sticky substance that helps it collect leaves to eat. Slakoth will also eat the occasional fruit or flower. Slakophyll, the substance that coats Slakoth’s fur, has medicinal properties and can be used to treat minor cuts and scrapes.
Slakoth is the only known Pokémon capable of using the move Yawn. When Slakoth yawns, it emits a loud screech that can startle other Pokémon. It can be found in forests and fields.
