Sealeo is a large, bluish-white seal Pokémon with a round body and eight flippers. Its face is white with a black muzzle, and it has large eyes rimmed with thick black rings. Three tufts of black hair sprout from the top of its head, and there is a small, white Rudolf-like nose on its muzzle.
On its belly is a yellow ring surrounded by four black spots. Sealeo often uses its powerful body and long, sharp tusks to break sheets of ice. This Pokémon is very family-oriented and will fight alongside its pod to the end.
Sealeo’s diet consists mainly of Herrings. Sealeo evolves into Walrein starting at level 34. Sealeo can be found near bodies of water in cold environments such as the Sinnoh region. Sealeo typically lives in cold waters, such as the seas around the Snowflake Kingdom.
It feeds on shellfish and small fish, which it pries open with its strong claws. Sealeo also takes advantage of air currents to bounce on the water’s surface. When Sealeo comes across beautifully shining pearls, it will carefully carry them to shore and present them to humans.
Sealeo is the lightest Pokémon in the seal trio. Sealeo debuted in Jirachi: Wish Maker under the ownership of Butler. A Shiny Sealeo appeared in episode 455, Shocks and Bonds under the ownership of Nando Sealeo made cameo appearances in Destiny Deoxys and Giratina and the Sky Warrior. Sealeo also appeared in Camp Pikachu.
