Seadra is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Horsea starting at level 32 and evolves into Kingdra when exposed to a Dragon Scale. Seadra is a blue, seahorse-like Pokémon with a long snout and tail. Along its back are four raised ridges with five flat spines on each ridge.

Seadra’s belly is cream-colored, and it has four white fins on its back. Seadra can control the water by using the spines on its back to swirl the water around it. When Seadra goes deep into the sea, it hides among the coral reefs. Seadra is able to swat flying bugs out of the air with its long tail.

Seadra is also capable of firing powerful jets of water from its mouth. These blasts are strong enough to destroy buildings and gunboats. Seadra can use these blasts to create whirlpools capable of sinking ships. Seadra’s horn is hollow and will fill with poison if Seadra uses Toxic Sting on an opponent.

If this happens, the poison can be drained by touching the tip of Seadra’s horn with a damp cloth. Seadra shares its category name with Horsea, Goldeen, Seaking, Feebas, Milotic, utilities Mantine, and Wishiwashi. They are all known as the Dragon Pokémon. Seadra was designed by Ken Sugimori.
