Scraggy is a small, lanky Pokémon with a long neck and a large head. Scraggy’s head is elongated with a blunt snout and two large eyes. A Scraggy typically has yellow eyes, although some Scraggy has orange or red eyes.
Scraggy has triangular ears and four small teeth on its lower jaw. Scraggy has thick, black skin around its neck, which resembles a turtle shell or a scarf. The bottom half of Scraggy’s body is white.
Scraggy has two small black feet and no tail. Scraggy is mostly found in tall grass. Scraggy is timid by nature but will fight fiercely when necessary to protect their territory.
Scraggy typically live in groups of two to five individuals. When threatened, Scraggy will stand on its hind legs and wave its long arms around to intimidate its foes. Scraggy will also use its long arms to grab onto an opponent’s neck and bite down hard.
If an opponent tries to shake Scraggy loose, Scraggy will tighten its hold and dig in its claws, causing the opponent pain. Scraggy is a Scrafty Pokémon. Scraggy has an egg on its stomach.
Scraggy was revealed in the June 2010 issue of CoroCoro. Scraggy is a Dragon/Dark-type Pokémon. Scraggy’s base stats are 115 HP, 80 Attack, 70 Defense, and 75 Sp. Scraggy evolves into Scrafty at level 39.
Scraggy is voiced by Bill Rogers in the English dub and by Junko Takeuchi in the Japanese dub.
