Sableye is a static, ghost-type Pokémon with a black body and purple eyes. Sableye is notable for being the only Ghost/Dark-type Pokémon. While it is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon, Sableye can Mega Evolve into Mega Sableye using the Sablenite.
Sableye is also the only Pokémon with the ability “Keen Eye”. Sableye has two different forms, both of which are black with purple eyes. Sableye’s original form is primarily black with a white chest and purple eyes.
Sableye’s second form is exclusively black with red eyes. Sableye is a small Pokémon, measuring 2’0″ and weighing 24.3 lbs. Sableye is found in dark caves where it feeds on precious gemstones. Sableye is calm and cautious by nature but can be crafty and deceptive when it suits its needs.
Sableye is also known to be very sly and sneaky. Sableye’s two primary strengths are its defensive typing and ability. Sableye’s defensive typing makes it resistant to 10 different types and immune to 3 others.
Sableye’s “Keen Eye” ability gives it perfect accuracy, making it impossible for opponents to lower its accuracy stat. These two factors make Sableye a very versatile Pokémon that can be adapted to fit nearly any team or playstyle. Sableye is mostly found in dark caves where it uses its uncanny glow to attract and immobilize prey before feasting on their gemstones.
Sableye is the only known Pokémon capable of learning the moves Fake tears, Foul Play, Imprison, Recover, Trick, and Will-O-Wisp.
