Roserade is a dual-type Grass/Poison Pokémon introduced in Generation IV. It evolves from Roselia when exposed to a Shiny Stone. Roserade is a Bouquet Pokémon.
Roserade has two possible forms, the Roserade flower form, and the Roserade whiptail form. In flower form, Roserade is a bipedal, humanoid Pokémon with a supernatural appearance. In this form, Roserade has a headdress of green leaves and red roses.
Additionally, there are two green leaves on its back where its whip-like tail sprouts. This tail is also tipped with red roses. Two more roses are located on Roserade’s chest, and it has long, thin arms ending in three-fingered hands.
Roserade’s feet are small, and it has pointed toes with red nails. Its eyes are violet with slit pupils, and its face is covered by a green mask with yellow markings around the eyes. A research study suggests that a Roserade mask filters pollen so that it can reduce the chances of having an allergic reaction when it uses poison-based attacks (such as Poison Jab).
Roserade can have one of two Abilities: Natural Cure, which heals it of all status conditions when it is withdrawn from battle; or Poison Touch, which gives all its contact moves a 20% chance of poisoning the target.
