When he drew the three girls on a birthday card for his brother during his first year of character animation at CalArts, the three girls’ concept was first thought of by creator Craig McCracken.
Then, in 1992, he animated a short film with the three girls titled “Whoopa** Stew: A Sticky Situation,” which was later broadcast on Cartoon Network as a part of their What A Cartoon! showcase.
