Oshawott is a water-type pokemon and the first pokemon in the Unova Pokedex. Oshawott is a small, otter-like Pokémon. It has a blue body with a white stomach and a brown, shell-like ridge on its back.
Oshawott also has large, brown eyes, a small black nose, and two small white fangs in its mouth. Oshawott’s most notable feature is the small, green orb on its belly. This orb is actually Oshawott’s scale, which it uses as a weapon.
Oshawott starts out with one scale but can have up to three by the time it evolves into Dewott. Oshawott is a mostly peaceful Pokémon, but it will fiercely protect its scale if it feels threatened. Oshawott is also known to be quite playful and is often seen carrying around Sea Turtle Pokémon or playing with sticks.
Shawott is also known for its love of berries. Oshawott will often carry a berry in its paws and nibble on it throughout the day. Oshawott’s name comes from the Japanese words for whale (Osa) and water (Mizu).
