Nidoqueen is a dual-type Poison/Ground Nido Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Nidoqueen is the final evolution of Nidoran♀ when exposed to a Moon Stone. It can also breed with Ditto to produce Eggs that contain either Nidoran♀ or Nidoqueen.
Nidoqueen is a large, blue, bipedal Pokémon with several reddish spots. It has short spikes on its back and tail, as well as two long horns protruding from its head. Nidoqueen has large, round eyes and small ears with reddish insides.
Its body is mostly covered in rough, pinkish-orange scales. However, its belly and the undersides of its arms and legs are smooth and pale blue. It has four clawed digits on each hand and foot. Nidoqueen can manipulate the ground as though it were made of water.
By curling into a ball, it can roll over any terrain at high speed while crushing everything in its path, even giant rocks! Nidoqueen is said to be very protective of its young and will fiercely defend them from harm; even humans have been known to back down when confronted by an angry Nidoqueen.
Nidoqueen is also able to use the moves Toxic Spikes and Scald, which can poison and burn opponents respectively. Nidoqueen is a very rare Pokémon but can be found in the wild by using a Super Rod.
