Muk is a Poison-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Muk appears to be made entirely of purple slime. It has two small eyes with white pupils and no visible irises. Two large, round lumps make up Muk’s body, and it has four small pseudopods attached to the bottom.
Muk gives off noxious gases that give people and Pokémon migraines. These gases can also induce fainting if Muk is Muk’s trainer. Muk can have one of two abilities: Stench or Sticky Hold. Stench is an ability that has a 10% chance of making the opponent flinch when Muk attacks first.
Sticky Hold is an ability that protects Muk from item theft, such as Recycle and Trick. Muk is the evolved form of Grimer. As seen in the anime, wild Muk lives in sewers and other dirty areas. They will only attack intruders if they are provoked. A Muk’s diet consists of garbage and other filthy items. If a Muk finds something clean, it will become agitated until it covers the object in slime.
