Due to their dubs of the Lupin TV Specials, Funimation received some criticism from the anime fandom. For some reason, instead of saying Lupin’s name as it usually is in prior dubs by Geneon and Discotek, they had the performers say “Loo-pin” instead of “Loo-pahn.” The truth is that neither pronunciation is correct, even if the second one seems more natural.
