Kingdra is a dual-type Water/Dragon Pokémon introduced in Generation II. Kingdra is similar to Horsea and Seadra; however, it is much larger, has a long horn on its head, and sports a pair of dangerous-looking fins. Kingdra can be found near the coast and in deep underwater caves.
It is also known as the “Dragon Pokémon”. Kingdra is a blue seahorse-like Pokémon with long, twirly whiskers. Kingdra’s body is covered in scale-like bumps, each ending in a point.
Kingdra has large pectoral fins and a long, snakelike neck. Kingdra’s tail ends in two points and it has a large dorsal fin. Kingdra’s most notable feature is the spiral horn on its forehead.
This horn is actually Kingdra’s spiracle, which it uses to breathe underwater. Kingdra is a very powerful swimmer and can swim up to 25 miles per hour. It can also shoot blasts of water from its mouth with enough force to destroy boulders.
Kingdra can change the temperature and hardness of its body at will as an adaptation to survive in conditions from freshwater to seawater. When exhalation causes the water around Kingdra to swirl, whirlpools form. These whirlpools can swallow anything nearby, including ships.
By using its psychic powers, Kingdra can calm the turbulent sea. It is the evolved form of Seadra and the final form of Horsea.
