Jynx is a Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Jynx is a human-like Pokémon with pale blue skin, pink lips, saucer-like eyes, and long blonde hair. Jynx has a slim build and is generally taller than an average human. Jynx walks on two legs and has two arms with three claw-like fingers on each hand.
Jynx’s most notable feature is its face, which is said to be based on that of a black person. Jynx is known to be very proficient in using its powers of attraction and persuasion to cause confusion in people. Jynx is also known to be very agile and light on its feet. Jynx is found in forests and wooded areas.
Jynx is native to the Sinnoh region. Jynx can use a variety of psychic-based attacks, such as Confusion and Psychic. Jynx can also use attraction moves, such as Sweet Kiss and Lovely Kiss, to confuse opponents. Jynx secretes a sweet-smelling aura all over its body that causes those who smell it to become calm and joyful.
