Jack-o-Lanterns are a spooky Halloween tradition that all of us know and love! Jack-o-Lanterns refer to the carved pumpkins you see lit up on people’s doorsteps or at the pumpkin patch. It all started with an old Irish folktale about Jack, a man who played pranks and tricks on all kinds of creatures in exchange for food and drinks. Moreover, Jack made a deal with the Devil and therefore was not allowed into heaven or hell after he passed. Nowadays, Jack-o-Lanterns are as much of a must-have decoration around Halloween as ghosts, cobwebs and candy corn!
