Did you know Valentine’s day originated as a celebration of St. Valentine? Valentine’s Day was believed to be first celebrated in the 5th Century BC with the customs we know today being introduced in Europe during the 1400s! It wasn’t until 1537 when Valentine’s greetings were popularized by King Henry VIII that Valentine’s cards were exchanged. That said, Valentine’s Day has grown over time to become an international phenomenon shared across all cultures. From exchanging chocolates and other tokens of love to telling someone how much they really mean – it makes Valentine’s Day a truly special occasion that’s worth celebrating!
