Hoppip (Japanese: ハネッコ Hanecco) is a dual-type Grass/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It evolves into Skiploom starting at level 18, which evolves into Jumpluff starting at level 27. Hoppip is a small, pink, and white Pokémon with circular feet.
They have four small feelers that function as roots, which they use to ground themselves or to grip surfaces as they hop along. Hoppip also has two round, green leaves on the top of their head. Hoppip enjoys sunny days, and will often be seen floating on gentle breezes.
When Hoppip land on fertile soil, they plant themselves and begin to grow. Hoppip is often considered to be a sign of good weather, as their appearance is said to herald the coming of spring. However, Hoppip can also be found in cold mountain ranges and other areas where it is cool.
