Heatran is a dual-type Fire/Steel Legendary Pokémon. It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. Heatran is a tortoise-like Pokémon with a body made of the brown and red metal.
Its underside is also brown, and it has four small feet with two toes each. It has glowing, yellow eyes and a whitish eyebrow on each side. Heatran has a round head with ridges on the sides and back.
On the back of its head are two downward-pointing horns. Heatran is able to climb sheer vertical surfaces to reach its nest. Heatran can withstand extremely high temperatures, and it produces magma internally.
However, if its internal body temperature drops, Heatran will freeze solid. While Heatran typically dwells in volcanic caves, it has been seen roaming in fields and mountains far from volcanoes. Due to Heatran’s constant activity, magma constantly well up from the cracks on its back.
