Gastly is a dual-type Ghost/Poison Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Gastly is one of the original 150 Pokémon and it is number 92 in the Pokédex. Gastly is a small, black Pokémon with a gaseous body which explains Gastly being known as the “Gas Pokémon”.
Gastly’s body consists of gas that is contained within a pink or blue haze. Gastly has two small eyespots inside its large maw. Gastly has long, thin arms with three-fingered hands. Gastly’s hazy body floats freely in the air and can go through solid objects.
Gastly can be found in dark, abandoned places, such as forests and caves. Gastly produces shrouds of gas that paralyze and poison victims who become trapped within them. The gas within Gastly’s body is highly poisonous and can cause headaches, nausea, and dizziness.
