Frozen Fun Facts!

  • It took 70 years to create Frozen. Since the 1930s, Walt Disney had wanted to make this movie! Disney made two additional attempts to start the project in the 1990s and 2000 because the plot never seemed just right. The narrative didn’t start coming together fully until 2008, when Frozen was created.
  • Originally, Elsa was the villain. Elsa was originally intended to be the antagonist. In early drafts, she has blue skin and black hair and looks quite ominous! She wasn’t supposed to be Anna’s sister either; instead, the kingdom was cursed by an evil ice queen instead. But over time, Disney realized they wanted a movie about love between family members and siblings, and Frozen was the result.
