Here are some fun facts about Espeon that Trainers may not know!
Espeon (Japanese: エーフィ Eifie) is a Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It evolves from Eevee when leveled up with high friendship during the day (in the main series games) or when leveled up with high friendship with a Sun Shard in the Bag (in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness). It is considered to be the counterpart of Umbreon.
Espeon is a small, quadrupedal feline creature with reddish-purple fur. Its fur is so fine and thin, that it can barely be seen. Espeon has large, pointed ears and big, round blue eyes.
Its forehead and the back of its head are darker in color than the rest of its body. Espeon has a small tuft of fur on its forehead, and two tiny tufts near the base of each ear. Espeon also has furry whiskers on its face.
Espeon’s neck is short and surrounded by a ruff of fur. Espeon’s slim body tapers to a point at the end of its long, tapering tail. Espeon’s four legs are slim and delicate looking. Each paw has five toes, each tipped with blunt claws.
Espeon is not obtainable in FireRed and LeafGreen Versions due to the lack of a time system. In order to be obtained and added to the Pokédex in these versions, an Eevee must be traded to Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald Versions, evolved there, and then traded back, or else traded from Pokémon Colosseum or Pokémon XD.
