Deoxys is a Psychic-type Mythical Pokémon introduced in Generation III. Deoxys has four different Formes, which it can change between by using the move “Form Change”. Deoxys’s Normal Forme is its default forme.
Deoxys’s Attack Forme has higher attack and speed stats, Deoxys’s Defense Forme has higher defense and hp stats, and Deoxys’s Speed Forme has the highest speed stat. Deoxys was created by a scientist who mutated a space virus with a Gene Splicer; Deoxys is this virus’s final evolutionary form. Deoxys is capable of creating miniature black holes.
Deoxys also appeared in the anime, in both its Normal Forme and its Attack Forme. In the anime, Deoxys crash-landed on Earth from space; Deoxys underwent severe radiation poisoning from Earth’s sun, which caused it to go insane. Deoxys was then captured by Team Rocket, who tried to use Deoxys for their own evil ends.
However, Ash and his friends were able to release Deoxys from Team Rocket’s control and help it recover from its radiation poisoning. Deoxys is a genderless Pokémon. Deoxys has four different forms, which it changes by using the DNA Splicers. Deoxys’s normal form is its Defense Form, in which Deoxys has a bulky, somewhat triangular body with two long, thin arms.
It also has a large hole in its chest, revealing its pulsing brain. Deoxys’s Attack Form is much sleeker and thinner than its other forms. It has a small head with glowing red eyes and four long tentacles that it uses to grasp opponents and deliver powerful punches.
Deoxys’s Speed Form is the smallest and fastest of its forms. It has a streamlined body with long, spindly legs that allow it to run at incredibly high speeds. Finally, Deoxys’s Defense Form is a balanced form between Deoxys’s other three forms, incorporating features from all of them.
Deoxy’s eyes are pink in all of its forms except for its Speed Form, in which they are red.
