Here are some fun facts about Cherrim that Trainers may not know!

Cherrim is a dual-type Grass/Fire Pokémon introduced in Generation IV. It is one of the final forms of Cherubi and is also known as the ‘Blossom Pokémon’. Cherrim has two different forms, depending on the game it is in Sunshine Form and Blossom Form.

Cherrim can change form when exposed to sunlight while in battle. Cherrim (Overcast Form) will change to Cherrim (Sunshine Form) when hit with a Solarbeam, using Sunny Day, or equipping a Heat Rock. Cherrim (Sunshine Form) has a white body with red trim and arcs around its face that resemble sunglasses.

Cherim (Overcast Form) has a gray body with pink trim. Cherim (Overcast Form) is the only form that can learn the move Weather Ball. Cherrim (Sunshine Form) has the ability Flower Gift, which boosts the Attack and Special Defense stats of itself and any allies that have the Fire-type or the Grass-type when hit with direct sunlight. Cherrim is a very gentle and timid Pokémon, but it will fight if it needs to protect its Trainer or friends.

Cherrim is also known for being very unlucky, as it often gets hit by surprise attacks from wild Pokémon or other Trainers’ Pokémon. However, Cherrim’s luck seems to change when it comes to battle, as it often emerges victorious despite the odds being against it. Cherrim is weak to water and ice-type moves, but it is resistant to fire-type moves.
