The Cascoon is a new type of Pokémon that can be found in the Sinnoh Region. It is a very interesting Pokémon that can transform from its cocoon-like state into a Cascoon. Here are some fun facts about Cascoon that Trainers may not know!
Cascoon is a centers stage in the Cascoon episode of Pokémon. It is a Stage 1 Cascoon that evolves into a Dustox. Cascoon is also one of the possible pre-evolutions of Toxapex (the other being Wimpod).
Cascoon made its main series debut in Win Way as one of the Coordinator’s Johanna’s Pokémon in the Slumber Party Plan!, where it battled May’s Wartortle and won, allowing Johanna to advance to the Petalburg Heartsilver Cup.
Johanna used Cascoon again to battle May for the first time in A Three Team Scheme!, where it was defeated. Johanna used Cascoon once more in The Blooming Woods Ball of Doom!, where it was defeated by Drew’s Roselia. Cascoon appeared in Odd Pokémon Out! as one of the many Pokémon living at Professor Ivy’s Pokémon Lab.
It evolved into Dustox while battling Misty, who was using her Psyduck at the time. Cascoon later appeared in number of episodes during the Hoenn saga. Cascoon has a black body with a light rim and a yellow pattern on its back that resembles an open flower or a Poké Ball when viewed from above. Cascoon evolves from Wurmple starting at level 7 and evolves into Dustox starting at level 10.
