The show centers on Sakura Kinomoto, a fourth-grade girl who discovers that she possesses magical powers after accidentally releasing a set of magical cards into the world. With the help of her best friend Tomoyo Daidouji and Cardcaptor Kerberos, also known as Kero-chan, Sakura works to recapture the escaped cards before they can cause any more damage. A new English dub of Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, produced by Bang Zoom! The entertainment began airing on Cartoon Network’s Toonami block on February 3, 2018, starting with the first episode of the series. Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card is set six months after Sakura finishes capturing all 52 Clow Cards. As Sakura begins junior high school alongside her friends and faces new challenges in her life, strange things begin happening in Tomoeda. Airy fairy footprints appear in various places and she starts having visions of a mysterious cloaked figure.
When making a wish upon the Star Wand at an amusement park, Sakura thinks nothing of it when she wishes for her dreams to come true. However, she soon discovers that when she went to sleep that night, something happened to all the clocks in town as they’ve stopped working and time has seemingly frozen in place.
