Cacturne is a Grass/Dark-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. Cacturne is a Cactus Pokémon. It has a brown, striped body with cactus needles poking out of its back, arms, and legs.
Cacturne has a small head with red eyes, black pupils, and a wide mouth filled with sharp teeth. It also has two green protrusions on the top of its head that resemble horns. Cacturne can enter a state of deep sleep during extended periods of darkness.
When conditions are dry, it sucks moisture from the ground using its roots to survive. Cacturne is the evolution of Cacnea, and it evolves into Cacturne when leveled up at night while holding a Dawn Stone. Cacturne is native to hot deserts.
Cacturne is known as the ‘Wandering Pokémon’. Cacturnes are carnivorous plants that feast on the Bug-type Pokémon that reside in their territory; however, they have been known to attack people and Pokémon alike if they are stranded in the desert for too long.
