Did you know…?
Many people mistake moths for butterflies. Even though their bodies and appearances are identical, they are two quite different creatures.
As day feeders, butterflies have vibrant wings. The moth, which feeds at night, has a more subdued color scheme so that they may blend in with their surroundings and avoid being seen by predators.
The body and antennae of butterflies are slender and elegant. The ends of the antennas may bear little knobs. The moth typically has antennae and a bigger, furrier body. Even their antennae have the ability to resemble feathers. Take note of the variations between these two examples.
