Here are some fun facts about Trapinch that Trainers may not know!

Beedrill is a dual-type Bug/Poison Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Beedrill primarily evolves from Kakuna starting at level 10. Beedrill is a large, yellow, and black wasp-like Pokémon. It has two large, lance-like stingers on its rear end.

Beedrill can have one of three abilities: Swarm, which boosts the power of Beedrill’s Bug-type moves by 1.5 times when its HP drops below one-third of its maximum; Sniper, which raises the critical hit ratio of Beedrill’s moves by 2%; or Bee Sting, which deals damage equal to 1.5 times Beedrill’s attack power plus 20 to the opponent if Beedrill attacks first and the opponent uses a contact move on Beedrill next turn.

Beedrill appears as both a Wild Pokémon and a Boss Pokémon. Beedrill mostly inhabits grassy areas like forests and jungles. However, they will also live in more urban areas if there are sufficient amounts of plants. They are very rarely seen in anime except for their nests.

It has three poisonous stingers on its forelegs and its tail. Beedrill primarily nests near forests and Mistys. If angered, they will attack in a furious swarm. Beedrill is capable of flying incredibly fast, as seen in “Enter The Dragonite”. In Alola, Beedrill has a regional variant that is Bug/Poison typed.

Beedrill’s foot-long stingers are very sharp and can puncture human skin. All three of Beedrill’s stingers secrete a powerful venom; the central stinger is the longest and the most potent. Beedrill can swing these around to inject their prey with venom.

Beedrill can also fire these stingers like darts or use them to grip branches as it swings through the air. The plug-like materials at the tips of its tails are used to block the venom from flowing backward up Beedrill’s body after it stings an opponent. These plugs also prevent Beedrill’s venom from leaking when it is feeling threatened.
