Armaldo is colored primarily green, with a brownish-red carapace covering its back. Its head is fairly small in comparison to the rest of its body, and it has two large, sharp teeth protruding from its lower jaw. Armaldo also has two small horns on the top of its head, and three smaller horns running down the middle of its back.

Armaldo is a dual-type Rock/Bug Pokemon introduced in Generation III. It is the final evolution of Anorith. Armaldo has a green carapace covering its back and its sides. Its belly and the insides of its clawed arms are yellow.
Its head is elliptical with two large, blue compound eyes on the front and sides. Two large red horns curve over its head from the back, and there are red ridges running down the length of its back. Armaldo is able to clamp down on opponents with its massive claws, which can also be used to swipe at foes or dig through bedrock.
Armaldo is known to dwell on beaches where it digs deep beneath the sand to hide itself or surprise prey. It can also be found in mountains near waterfalls. Armaldo is a fierce battler that will not hesitate to use any means necessary to win, even if it means using underhanded tactics such as kicking sand in an opponent’s face.
Despite Armaldo’s ferocious nature, it has been shown to be afraid of using Flying-type Pokemon. Armaldo is the only Pokemon that can learn the move Cross Poison.
