Here are some fun facts about Archeops that Trainers may not know!

Archeops is a dual-type Rock/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation V. Archeops is a pokemon that seems to be based on an Archeopteryx. Archeops is a primarily brown pokemon with a white chest and stomach.

It has dark gray stripes along its back and tail. Archeops have a beak and long limbs similar to those of a theropod dinosaur. Its arms are proportionally small, while its legs are long and muscular.

The majority of Archeops’s body is brown, except for its wings, which are teal with black spots. There are three toes on each foot, and its tail is very long in comparison to its body. Archeops is capable of flight, but only for very short distances; it needs a head start to take off.

In addition, it can use its powerful leg muscles to jump incredibly high. Archeops live in dense forests and preys on insects and small mammals. However, it is also known to eat berries and fruits.

When Archeops hears the sound of approaching prey, it will try to hide behind branches or leaves and ambush its victim. It has been shown to be capable of cooperation, as seen when several Archeops worked together to capture prey that was too large for one of them to take down alone.

Archeops is categorized as the First Bird Pokémon. Archeops is pronounced as “ARK-ee-OPS”. It evolves from Archen starting at level 37 after it is revived from a Plume Fossil.
