Here are some fun facts about Absol that Trainers may not know!
Absol is a dark-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. Absol is a slender, white Pokémon with night-black fur that covers its entire body.
Its head is triangular with two large ears and red eyes. Above its eyes are small, triangular horns, and it has a crescent moon marking on its forehead. On the back of its head are three tufts of black fur, and it has a long, thin tail tipped with black.
Additionally, there are red oval markings over Absol’s knees. By wagging its tail widely, Absol sends an Absol call that summons others of its kind when Absol nears disaster. Absol lives for disaster alone.
It’s thought that Absol caused the great famine of a century ago. As a result, people grew to despise it and began hunting it for sport. Absol sometimes does good deeds to make up for the mayhem it causes, but it generally goes unappreciated due to people’s suspicion and fear.
When trouble comes Absol’s way, it appears out of nowhere – hence its nickname, the Disaster Pokémon! Absol can bring about natural disasters by releasing a saw from within itself when in danger. Absol is a popular Pokémon and has appeared in various forms of merchandise, including toys, trading cards, and video games.
In Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, Absol can be found in the Safari Zone. In Pokémon X and Y, Absol can be found on Route 12. In Pokémon Sun and Moon, Absol can be found on Route 8.
